FAA Certifies Telair's Lower Deck CRAF Loading System for Boeing 777-300ER
The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has granted a Supplemental Type Certificate for Telair's lower deck cargo loading system for the Boeing 777-300ER. This system is specifically designed for the Civil Reserve Air Fleet (CRAF) program, allowing for the rapid conversion of passenger aircraft to carry military cargo. The certification was achieved following a successful validation on a United Airlines 777-300ER in March. This approval enables participating airlines to quickly adapt their widebody passenger jets for critical military logistics support when required.
