Williston Aviation Students Gain Hands-On Experience by Building an Airplane
Students in the Williston Aviation Education Program are building a Van's RV-12 aircraft from a kit. This hands-on project provides invaluable, real-world experience in aircraft construction and mechanics. The initiative aims to inspire interest in aviation careers, addressing the industry-wide shortage of pilots and technicians. Under the guidance of mentors, students are involved in every step of the assembly process. Once completed, the airplane will be sold to financially support the program for future student projects.
