WFS Secures Major Qatar Airways Cargo Handling Contract in Liege
World Flight Services (WFS) has won a significant, multi-year cargo handling contract with Qatar Airways Cargo at Liege Airport. Starting in mid-June, WFS will manage cargo operations for approximately 35 weekly flights operated by Boeing 777 and 747 freighters. The partnership is expected to handle an annual volume of over 150,000 tonnes of cargo. To support the new contract, WFS is investing in a dedicated ramp handling team and new equipment at its Liege facility. This agreement marks a major expansion of the global partnership between the two companies.
