US Air Taxi Operator Hopscotch Air to Launch Scheduled Commuter Operations
US-based air taxi operator Hopscotch Air has applied for commuter air carrier authority to launch scheduled passenger services. The company plans to use its fleet of four-seat Cirrus SR22 aircraft for the new operations. The proposed routes will connect White Plains, New York, and Bedford, Massachusetts, with seasonal destinations like Nantucket, Martha's Vineyard, and Provincetown. This marks a strategic shift for the carrier, which has historically focused on on-demand private charters. The new scheduled services are subject to approval from the US Department of Transportation (DOT).
