United Airlines Boeing 777 Makes Emergency Landing After Pressurization Issue
A United Airlines flight bound for Rome from Newark was forced to return for an emergency landing. The pilots of the Boeing 777, with 270 passengers and 14 crew, reported a cabin pressurization issue. Flight data shows the aircraft made a rapid descent from 43,000 feet to under 9,000 feet in about eight minutes. The plane landed safely back at Newark Liberty International Airport. The Federal Aviation Administration has confirmed it is investigating the incident.
