UK's Largest Regional Airline Loganair Put Up For Sale Again
Loganair, the United Kingdom's largest regional airline, has been put up for sale by its owners. This marks the second time the Scottish carrier has been placed on the market in the last 18 months. The airline is being sold as a profitable company, having recently posted a pre-tax profit of £9.5 million. It operates a fleet of 35 aircraft, serving crucial routes across the UK, particularly in the Scottish Highlands and Islands, as well as destinations in Ireland and Scandinavia. A previous sale attempt was paused in 2023 to allow management to focus on fleet modernization.
