Twelve Dead in Missouri Skydiving Plane Crash, Authorities Confirm
A single-engine plane carrying skydivers crashed shortly after takeoff in Missouri, killing all 12 people on board. The incident occurred near Sullivan Regional Airport, about 60 miles southwest of St. Louis. The aircraft, a Cessna Caravan, was operated by Quantum Leap Skydiving. On board were ten skydivers, a pilot, and a pilot-in-training. The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) are investigating the cause of the crash.
