Teleport Selects Bahrain for New Middle East Air Cargo and E-commerce Hub
Teleport, the logistics arm of AirAsia, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Bahrain Airport Company to establish its first airfreight hub. The new facility will be located at Bahrain International Airport, serving as a strategic hub for e-commerce and cargo operations. This move is designed to connect Teleport's Southeast Asian network with the wider Middle East and Gulf Cooperation Council region. The hub will be equipped with the latest cargo handling technology and will be serviced by Teleport’s A321 freighters. This expansion is a key part of the company's strategy to enhance delivery speeds and network reach.
