Southwest Boeing 737 Collides With Ramp Vehicle at Memphis Airport
A Southwest Airlines Boeing 737-800 was involved in a ground incident at Memphis International Airport (MEM). The aircraft, scheduled to operate flight WN390 to Orlando, collided with a tug vehicle during pushback from the gate. The plane's left engine nacelle sustained visible damage in the collision. Fortunately, no injuries were reported among the 143 passengers or crew members on board. All passengers were deplaned safely and rebooked on a replacement aircraft, while the damaged 737 was taken out of service for a thorough inspection and repairs.
