Southwest Airlines Cuts Seven Routes From St. Louis Hub
Southwest Airlines is adjusting its network by discontinuing seven routes from St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL). The changes, set for early 2025, affect both domestic and international travel. The four domestic routes being cut are to Buffalo, Detroit, Minneapolis-St. Paul, and Palm Springs. Additionally, three international services to Cancun, Montego Bay, and Punta Cana are being suspended. This network optimization is partly a response to ongoing Boeing aircraft delivery delays. Despite these reductions, Southwest will remain the dominant carrier at the St. Louis airport.
