Southern Sky Aviation Opens U.S. Customs Facility at Trent Lott International Airport
Southern Sky Aviation, in partnership with Jackson County, has inaugurated a new U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) facility at Trent Lott International Airport (PQL). This development officially designates PQL as a U.S. port of entry for international flights. The 2,500-square-foot General Aviation Facility (GAF) will allow private and corporate aircraft to clear customs directly upon arrival. This new service is expected to significantly boost international traffic from regions like the Caribbean, Mexico, and Central America. The facility aims to increase convenience for travelers and stimulate economic growth for the airport and the surrounding community.
