SkyFly Secures $10 Million to Certify its 'Axe' Personal eVTOL
UK-based company SkyFly has raised $10 million in a Series A funding round to advance its personal eVTOL aircraft, the Axe. The funds will be primarily used to achieve certification under the UK's light aircraft regulations. The Axe is a two-seat, hybrid-electric aircraft designed for private owners, featuring a unique four-wing design. The company states the new capital is a significant vote of confidence in its vision for personal air mobility. SkyFly aims to begin customer deliveries of the certified aircraft by early 2028.
