Sichuan Airlines Executives Under Investigation for 'Serious Violations'
Three senior executives at Sichuan Airlines are under investigation for alleged serious violations of discipline and law. The probe targets the airline's former chairman, Li Haiying, who retired in 2023. Also under investigation are two current deputy general managers, Ran Zhixiang and Chen Lixin. The investigation is being conducted by China's Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission. This action points to a significant anti-corruption inquiry within the state-owned carrier.
