Scottish Airline Loganair Put Up For Sale After Posting Record Profits

The UK's largest regional airline, Loganair, has officially been put up for sale by its owners, brothers Stephen and Peter Bond. The decision follows a period of strong performance, with the airline recently reporting record annual profits. The owners stated that it is the right time for new ownership to take the airline to the next level. Loganair operates a fleet of 42 aircraft and provides crucial services to over 70 routes, particularly connecting the Scottish Highlands and Islands. A formal sale process is underway, with a transaction expected to be completed in the second half of 2023.
