Ryanair Exercises Option for 10 Additional Boeing 737 MAX Aircraft
Ryanair has announced the purchase of 10 more Boeing 737 MAX aircraft, exercising an option from a previous deal. This move increases the airline's total firm order for the jet, which it calls the "Gamechanger," to 210 planes. The aircraft are scheduled for delivery between Spring 2021 and December 2024. Ryanair's leadership expressed strong confidence in the aircraft's safety and performance following its recertification. This fleet expansion is a key part of the carrier's strategy to grow passenger numbers to 200 million per year by 2026.
