Qatar Airways Cargo Resumes Iraq Freighter Services, Boosting Regional Capacity
Qatar Airways Cargo has officially restarted its dedicated freighter services to Iraq, connecting the country to its global network. The services, which began on February 3, 2024, now include routes to Basra, Baghdad, and Erbil. An Airbus A310 freighter will operate the flights, offering over 60 tonnes of weekly cargo capacity. The schedule includes twice-weekly flights to Erbil and weekly services to both Baghdad and Basra. This resumption marks a significant step in enhancing trade and logistics links for Iraq through the airline's Doha hub.
