Qatar Airways Cargo Resumes Full Handling Operations at Doha Hub
Qatar Airways Cargo has officially resumed full management of its cargo handling operations at its Doha hub, the Cargo Terminal Complex. This move follows a transition period where these services were managed by Qatar Aviation Services (QAS) Cargo. The complete handover was finalized on July 1, 2024, after a process that began in May. The airline stated this change is aimed at enhancing efficiency, streamlining processes, and providing customers with a more seamless experience. The Doha hub is one of the world's largest cargo facilities, capable of handling 3.3 million tonnes annually.
