Qatar Airways Cargo Resumes Freighter and Belly-Hold Services to Iraq
Qatar Airways Cargo has announced the resumption of its air freight services to Iraq, re-establishing a crucial trade link. The carrier will operate a once-weekly Boeing 777 freighter service to Erbil, a major economic hub. In addition to the dedicated freighter, belly-hold cargo capacity will be available on passenger flights to Basra, Baghdad, and Erbil. The reinstated services are aimed at supporting Iraq’s economy by facilitating the import and export of goods. This move reconnects key Iraqi cities to the airline's extensive global network.
