Lufthansa Cargo Transports T-Rex Skeletons from Munich to Beijing
Lufthansa Cargo has successfully transported two complete Tyrannosaurus rex skeletons from Munich to Beijing. The prehistoric specimens, nicknamed "Rocky" and "King Kong," were flown on a Boeing 777F freighter for their new home. This complex shipment required 14 custom wooden crates to safely contain the 66-million-year-old fossils. The entire operation highlights the airline's specialized capabilities in handling valuable and delicate freight. The skeletons will now be exhibited at the Paleo-Zoological Museum of China.
