Loganair Announces New Flight Route Connecting Orkney and Fair Isle

Scottish airline Loganair has launched a new route from Kirkwall, Orkney, to the remote island of Fair Isle. The service is scheduled to begin on May 25th, operating twice a week on Wednesdays and Saturdays. This new connection restores a direct air link between the northern isles of Orkney and Shetland. Loganair will use a Twin Otter aircraft for the flights. The route is a Public Service Obligation (PSO), ensuring essential connectivity for one of the UK's most isolated communities.
