Guernsey Airport is preparing for a major £24 million project to replace its 84-year-old runway. The current asphalt surface has reached the end of its operational life, necessitating a full replacement to ensure future safety and reliability. The five-month project is scheduled to begin in March 2025. To minimize disruption to flights and passengers, all construction work will be conducted overnight.
