Flybe Administrators Launch Legal Action Against Lessors Over Former Aircraft Fleet
The administrators for the collapsed UK airline Flybe are taking legal action against two aircraft leasing companies. Interpath Advisory has filed a case in London's High Court against Aergo and Nordic Aviation Capital regarding 17 former Flybe aircraft. The administrators allege that the lessors unlawfully repossessed the De Havilland Canada Dash 8-400 planes after the airline ceased trading in January 2023. These aircraft have since been leased to other carriers, including Air France and Loganair. The legal challenge is an attempt to recover value for the defunct airline's creditors.
