Finnair Selects Embraer E195-E2 for Major Fleet Renewal, Orders Up to 46 Jets
Finnair has announced a significant move to modernize its regional fleet by signing a Letter of Intent with Embraer. The agreement covers an order for up to 46 E195-E2 aircraft, which includes firm orders, purchase rights, and conversion rights. These new, highly efficient jets are set to replace the airline's current fleet of aging Embraer E190s. The transition aims to significantly improve operational efficiency, reduce fuel consumption, and lower carbon emissions. First deliveries of the new aircraft are anticipated to begin in the second half of 2026.
