Etihad Cargo Launches New Freighter Service to Ezhou, Strengthening China-Africa Trade Links
Etihad Cargo has expanded its network by launching a new freighter service to Ezhou Huahu Airport (EHU) in China. The twice-weekly service will be operated by a Boeing 777-200 Freighter, enhancing connectivity between the Chinese market and the rest of the world via Etihad's Abu Dhabi hub. This strategic move aims to capitalize on the growing demand for cargo capacity, particularly for e-commerce and other goods. The new route is designed to significantly boost trade flows between China and Africa, leveraging Abu Dhabi's position as a global logistics gateway. This expansion supports the increasing economic ties facilitated by initiatives like the Belt and Road.
