Ethiopian Airlines Finalizes Firm Order for 11 Boeing 787 Dreamliners
Ethiopian Airlines has officially placed a firm order for 11 Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft, solidifying a commitment made at the 2023 Dubai Airshow. The deal also includes options for an additional 15 jets, making it the largest-ever Dreamliner order from an African airline. This purchase will significantly expand the carrier's existing all-Boeing widebody fleet, which already includes 29 Dreamliners. The new aircraft are intended to support the airline's fleet modernization and network growth strategy. This order reaffirms the long-standing partnership between Ethiopian Airlines and Boeing.
