dnata Secures Seven-Year Ground Handling License at Amsterdam Schiphol
Global air and travel services provider dnata has been awarded a new seven-year ground handling license at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS). As part of the new license, the company will invest €100 million to establish operations, including a new, highly-advanced 61,000 sqm cargo facility. The facility is designed to process over 850,000 tonnes of cargo annually and will create 450 local jobs. It will feature state-of-the-art technologies such as automated guided vehicles and smart gates, alongside a strong focus on sustainability. This move is part of Schiphol's initiative to enhance quality, competition, and sustainability among ground handlers at the airport.
