Delta to Cut Main Cabin Snack and Drink Service on Flights Under 450 Miles
Delta Air Lines will suspend complimentary snack and beverage service in the Main Cabin for flights under 450 miles, effective January 2025. The airline attributes the decision to the challenges of completing service safely on short flights, citing an increase in turbulence. This policy change aims to enhance safety and allow flight attendants to focus on primary duties. While the standard service is being removed, water will still be available upon request, and First Class service will remain unaffected.
