Decorated U.S. Navy Pilot to Recount Career at Aviation Museum Event
Veteran U.S. Navy pilot and Naval Flight Officer Cmdr. George “Elwood” Stone will be the featured speaker at the Aviation Museum of New Hampshire. The presentation, scheduled for Saturday, March 2, will cover his distinguished military career. Stone flew the E-2C Hawkeye airborne early warning aircraft and has over 4,000 flight hours. His service includes combat missions during Operation Southern Watch and Operation Iraqi Freedom in the Persian Gulf. The talk is part of the museum's ongoing series designed to bring aviation stories to the public.
