Dawson Springs Airport Secures $4.5 Million in FAA Funding for New Terminal Building

Dawson Springs Municipal Airport in Kentucky has been awarded nearly $4.5 million in federal funding from the FAA's Airport Terminal Program. This grant, supported by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, is designated for the construction of a new, modern terminal building. The facility will replace the current 50-year-old converted modular home, which suffers from a leaking roof and lacks accessibility. The planned terminal will be fully ADA compliant and feature improved amenities, including a pilot's lounge and a flight planning room, to better serve the general aviation community.
