Cargolux Italia and Liege Airport Launch Taipei Route to Create Semiconductor Air Bridge to Europe
Liege Airport's 'Cargoland by LGG' initiative has identified Taiwan as a crucial hub for semiconductor transport between Asia and Europe. In line with this strategy, Cargolux Italia has launched a new twice-weekly Boeing 747-400F freighter service from Milan-Malpensa to Taipei. The route aims to establish a 'semiconductor express' solution, directly connecting Taiwan's vast microchip production with Europe's automotive and high-tech industries. This strategic air bridge is designed to enhance supply chain resilience for these critical components. The service reflects the growing demand for reliable and fast transport for high-value electronics.
