Beyond Aero Reaches Key Design Milestone for Hydrogen-Electric Aircraft
French manufacturer Beyond Aero has achieved a significant step in the development of its hydrogen-powered business jet. The company announced the completion of its first major design review, known as 'Design Freeze 1', for the 'ONE' aircraft. This milestone solidifies the aircraft's fundamental architecture, performance specifications, and the configuration of its hydrogen storage systems. With the design now set, Beyond Aero will move forward to select major suppliers and partners for the project. The ONE is being developed as a six-to-eight passenger aircraft, aiming to pioneer zero-emission business aviation.
