Beta Technologies Secures $511 Million in New Funding, Boosting Valuation to $3.4 Billion
Electric aviation startup Beta Technologies has successfully raised $511 million in a Series D funding round. The investment, led by TPG Rise Climate and Fidelity, increases the company's valuation to $3.4 billion. Beta is developing its 'Alia' electric aircraft, which comes in both vertical and conventional takeoff versions. The company is advancing toward FAA certification and has already secured orders from major clients including UPS, Bristow, and the U.S. Air Force. This new capital injection is a significant vote of confidence as the company scales production at its Vermont facility.
