Belfast City Airport has announced a new direct flight service to Verona, Italy. The route will be operated by Aer Lingus Regional, which is managed by Emerald Airlines, marking its first service from Belfast to Italy. Flights are scheduled to commence on May 25, 2024, and will operate twice weekly on Tuesdays and Saturdays. This new connection is a seasonal summer service aimed at holidaymakers. Airport officials cited strong passenger demand for Italian destinations as the primary reason for launching the new route.
