Archer Aviation Reports Wider Q4 Loss Amidst eVTOL Development Push
Archer Aviation has reported a widened adjusted EBITDA loss for the fourth quarter, reaching $109.9 million compared to $84.2 million in the same period last year. The increased loss is primarily due to higher spending on the development and testing of its 'Midnight' electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft. The company is currently in the final phase of 'for-credit' testing with the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Archer is targeting FAA certification for its aircraft in 2025 and concluded the year with approximately $625 million in liquidity to support its operations.
