Alaska Airlines 737-800 Returns to Seattle After Cabin Door Warning
An Alaska Airlines Boeing 737-800, operating as flight AS331, returned to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport on October 25, 2023. The crew decided to turn back shortly after takeoff due to an indication of a possible issue with an aft cabin door. The flight, which was headed to Phoenix, landed safely as a precautionary measure. After landing, maintenance teams thoroughly inspected the aircraft but found no anomalies with the door. The aircraft was subsequently cleared and returned to service the next day.
