AirCorps Aviation has released its latest progress report on the restoration of a historic Piper L-4H Grasshopper. The winter update highlights significant milestones, including the completion of the fabric covering on the fuselage and tail surfaces. Work is now focused on the intricate assembly of the wings and the overhaul of the aircraft's Continental A-65 engine. The team is meticulously restoring the cockpit and instrument panel to its original World War II configuration. This project aims to return the vintage military liaison aircraft to its authentic, airworthy state for a private owner.
