An Air India Airbus A320neo experienced a hydraulic malfunction upon landing at Phuket International Airport. The aircraft, arriving from Delhi as flight AI378, became disabled and was unable to vacate the landing strip. This incident forced the complete closure of Phuket's only runway for several hours. As a result, airport operations were severely disrupted, leading to numerous flight diversions and significant delays for departing aircraft. The runway was eventually reopened after the aircraft was safely towed away.
