Air Charter Service Facilitates Major Pet Rescue Flight for 208 Cats and Dogs
Air Charter Service organized a charter flight to transport 208 rescue animals from Puerto Rico to the United States. In partnership with the animal welfare organization The Sato Project, the mission aimed to save abused and abandoned cats and dogs. The animals were flown on a Fairchild Metroliner cargo aircraft as part of a 'Freedom Flight'. The journey began in Puerto Rico, with stops in Florida and New Jersey. This special transport provides the pets a chance to be adopted into new, permanent homes.
