Air Astana to Pursue $4 Million Share Buyback in 2026
Air Astana has announced a conditional share buyback program valued at up to USD 4 million. This initiative is part of the stabilization arrangements following the airline's Initial Public Offering in February 2024. The plan, which is scheduled to be executed in 2026, involves repurchasing the company's global depositary receipts (GDRs). Citigroup Global Markets will handle the transaction as the stabilizing manager. The primary goal of the buyback is to support the market price of the airline's shares after its listing.
