AEA Reports 12.8% Increase in Avionics Sales for First Quarter of 2024
The Aircraft Electronics Association (AEA) has released its Avionics Market Report for the first quarter of 2024, revealing a significant industry upswing. Total worldwide business and general aviation avionics sales reached over $852 million, marking a 12.8% increase compared to the same period in 2023. This growth was observed in both the forward-fit and retrofit markets, which grew by 15.3% and 9.6% respectively. The report consolidates data from 22 participating manufacturers, indicating robust health in the sector. North America continues to be the dominant market, accounting for 75.3% of all sales.
