12 Dead After Skydiving Plane Crashes in Missouri
A single-engine Cessna Caravan carrying a group of skydivers has crashed in Missouri, killing all 12 people on board. The incident occurred shortly after the plane took off from Sullivan Regional Airport for a skydiving outing. According to Franklin County Sheriff Gary Toelke, the victims included the pilot and 11 skydivers. The aircraft went down in a field near the airport, located about 60 miles southwest of St. Louis. The National Transportation Safety Board has been notified and will be leading the investigation into the cause of the fatal crash.
