XCHARGE NA Installs Fast-Charging Infrastructure for North America's First Electric ARFF Vehicle at Dallas Fort Worth Airport
XCHARGE North America has successfully deployed its C6 Smart DC fast charger at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW). The charger powers the Rosenbauer RTX, the first electric Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) vehicle operating in North America. This advanced vehicle can accelerate from 0 to 50 mph in just 25 seconds, a critical capability for airport emergency response. The 180 kW charger ensures the electric ARFF is always ready for deployment, supporting DFW's goal of achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2030. This partnership marks a significant step in electrifying essential airport ground support equipment.
