Wizz Air and EasyJet Top UK Flight Delay Rankings for 2023
Wizz Air has been identified as the UK's least punctual airline for the third consecutive year, according to 2023 data from the Civil Aviation Authority. The carrier's UK departures were delayed by an average of 31 minutes and six seconds. Gatwick-based easyJet also featured among the poorest performers with an average delay of 21 minutes and 30 seconds per flight. The report also named London Gatwick as the worst-performing major airport for punctuality in the UK, while Virgin Atlantic was ranked as the most punctual airline.
