Washington State Patrol Closes Major Highway for Shooting Investigation
The Washington State Patrol has closed State Route 18 in both directions at the Tiger Mountain summit. The closure is due to significant police activity in the area. WSP detectives are currently on scene conducting a shooting investigation. Authorities have not provided an estimated time for the highway to reopen. Motorists are being advised to avoid the area and seek alternate routes.
