Walmart Surpasses One Million Commercial Drone Deliveries
Walmart has achieved a significant milestone by completing over one million drone deliveries since launching the service in 2021. This goal was reached earlier than initially projected, signaling a rapid adoption of the technology. The service is currently available from 37 stores across seven U.S. states, including Texas, Florida, and Arizona. Operating with partners DroneUp and Zipline, Walmart can now reach up to four million households. The program delivers a wide range of products, including fragile items like eggs, in 30 minutes or less.
