Viva Selects SES Multi-Orbit Inflight Connectivity for 100 Airbus Narrowbodies

Airline group Viva has selected satellite operator SES to provide inflight connectivity for 100 of its Airbus A320-family aircraft. The deal will equip the narrowbody fleet with SES's advanced multi-orbit solution, which utilizes both Geostationary (GEO) and Medium Earth Orbit (MEO) satellites. This hybrid network is designed to deliver high-speed, low-latency internet service to passengers. The technology will enable travelers to seamlessly stream video, browse, and use high-demand applications while in the air. This partnership marks a significant investment by Viva to enhance its onboard passenger experience and a major win for SES in the competitive IFC market.
