Vietnamese Carriers Halt Flights to Da Lat for Major Runway Renovation
Major Vietnamese airlines, including Vietnam Airlines and VietJet Air, are temporarily suspending all flights to Lien Khuong Airport (DLI), the main gateway to the popular tourist city of Da Lat. The service halt is required to accommodate a comprehensive runway and taxiway upgrade project. Managed by the Airports Corporation of Vietnam, the renovation aims to enhance the airport's operational capacity and safety standards. This temporary closure will significantly impact travel to Vietnam's Central Highlands region. Airlines are advising affected passengers to check for rebooking and refund options.
