Vietnam Warns Airlines of Potential Flight Cuts Amid Jet Fuel Supply Shortage
The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV) has issued a warning to airlines regarding a potential jet fuel shortage that could lead to flight disruptions. The country's largest refinery, Nghi Son, has significantly cut production, threatening the national fuel supply chain. In response, the CAAV has urged carriers to proactively adjust their flight schedules and consider reducing operations if necessary. Airlines have also been advised to seek alternative fueling arrangements at foreign airports to mitigate the impact on their services. The authority is coordinating with fuel suppliers to stabilize the situation and prevent widespread cancellations.
