Victims of Fatal Seldovia Air Taxi Crash Identified by Authorities
Alaska State Troopers have officially identified the pilot and three passengers who were killed in a plane crash near Seldovia. The pilot was Dana O’Leary, 58, of Seldovia. The passengers were identified as Charles Weimer, 62, Tamera Weimer, 60, and their son, Charles Weimer, 27. The de Havilland DHC-2 Beaver aircraft was flying from Seldovia to a remote cabin when it went down in mountainous terrain. The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the cause of the fatal accident.
