Valo Unveils Hybrid-Electric Autonomous Aircraft for the Light Sport Market
Aviation startup Valo, founded by former Wisk Aero engineers, has revealed its new hybrid-electric aircraft concept. The two-passenger plane features a serial hybrid-electric powertrain, where a generator powers the electric motor, aiming to significantly extend its range over pure electric models. Designed with advanced fly-by-wire controls, the aircraft will incorporate a high degree of autonomy to simplify piloting. Valo's initial focus is on the Light Sport Aircraft (LSA) market for private pilots and flight schools.
